PB2 Texas becomes BASIC architecture + interiors

Dallas, TX – January 01, 2009 – The Texas operation of PB2 has re-branded as BASIC architecture + interiors. BASIC architecture + interiors specialize in the development, design, and production of religious environments and planned developments. With approximately 25 employees, we have offices in the Landmark Center of the Historic West End Market Place in Dallas and in Kennedale, Texas.

BASIC has considerable experience in master planning and designing worship facilities and multi-purpose environments. Recently completed projects include the design and construction of three new facilities for Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, Texas; including the development of a Master Plan for their new 125 acre satellite campus in Prosper, Texas. In addition, we are currently designing innovative new Youth Education facilities for First Baptist Church in Colleyville, Texas and First Baptist Church in Wylie, Texas.

BASIC is a “creative think tank” that is almost entirely focused on developing cutting edge solutions for the design of church facilities and mixed-use environments. The firm’s principals Brent Smith, Stephen Pickard, AIA, NCARB, and Charles Dietrick, AIA, have operated and managed the firm’s religious work for the past several years.
